If an administrator would like to complete a credit card transaction for a cient, how would he do that? Another words, how would he take the customer's credit card number, enter it into the registration module and give the client his subscription?

Thanks.

Hi Collin,

If you would like to complete a credit card transaction for a client, then all you would do is go to the page on your site with the Registration Pro module and go through the Registration, entering all of your clients information including name, address, email address, and credit card information. And then the customer subscription will be created, recurring billing will be set up, and the customer will receive a confirmation email.

Thank you,

If he's already a client with a login, how would I enter the cc info? I'd rather not have to look up his login and login as him.

The registration module doesnt support being logged in as one user and registering on behalf of another user with a different account.  The following are your options for running a payment on behalf of another user that already has an account in your portal:

  • Use your payment gateway virtual terminal to charge a customers credit card
  • Login as the user you want to run a transaction for
  • Smith Cart has a module called "Smith Address Book" that does what you are looking for, ordering on behalf of another user.  But switching to Smith Cart may not work for your requirements
