Is there a plan in place to allow for exporting the product data in the same format that the spreadsheet is imported?

Hi Sian,

Currently, the product can be exported using SQL Mgmt Studio. We do not have an export function on the Dev Roadmap due to the demand for product importing in higher demand. Let me know if you would like us to add your request to the Enhancement Request forum. If you would like to prioritize a feature request to the top of the list or be provided with a quote, please do one of the following:

Hi Kevin

Yes please add it to the enhancement feature request forum. I would suggest that it allows us to export the product data in the same format that we have the spreadsheet used to import / update product data.

One reason for this is that I can't add rich text to the description fields in the import sheet, due to the nature of excel. I can only add html - if I could import my basic product data, and then go and add information to the description fields using the rich text editor, I can then export this information - and I would then have an updated spreadsheet that I can modify price or other data on, prior to re-importing it, and I won't lose any of the info I have added to descriptions via the rte - does that make sense ?

I am going to use xmodpro to provide this facility for my client in the interim.

Yes, i understand, and I agree that the ability to export the product data in the same format that we have the spreadsheet used to import / update product data would be very useful.
