Missing/Illegal ShipTo/Address/CountryCode

Selected UPS WorldWide saver, and UPS WorldWide Express.

Used UK, london and W11 2BQ for the country, city, and zip code.

Anyone been able to get these working?

Are you including a building number? When addressing anything to the UK you need to include the building number or building name, street name, town or city, post code and country.

Thanks,

Christian

I would assume that the guy in the UK who brought it to my attention had the correct address.

I tried it with some random UK addresses I got from Google, and had the same results.

The error exists on www7 as well.

I have set Shipping for Shipping Calculator, UPS, and selected UPS Ground, UPS WorldWide Express, and UPS Saver.

I put in the address:

((My Name))

124-26 Wardour St.

London

United Kingdom

W1F 0Ty

... and got the error.

I tried

56 St. Paul St.

London

UK

N1 7DA

.... and got the error.

I have verified the address format. These are valid addresses.

Further testing:

Had a customer in the UK send me his address. This one gives " The XML document is not well formed"

((name))

43 Progress Court

Dinmore Avenue

Blackpool

Lancashire

FY3 &QX

Am I the *ONLY* person trying to do this? What are other people using to ship to the UK from the US?

Bump.

This is broken on www7 as well. This is using an address that the person sent me who was trying to order from the UK. I went on the assumption that the & was supposed to be a 7.

** Note ** Verified, that's supposed to be a 7. Verified the address is correct on Google Maps.

We are using the source code from Smith Cart v3.87.0 and are having issues with shipping to the UK.

What can we do to fix this issue?

Thanks

The UPS US to UK shipping issue was fixed in cart release 4.24 so you will need to upgrade to get the latest version to fix the issue. If you have a current Smith Cart maintenance plan then you can download the latest Smith Cart PA zip from the cart downloads page. If you would like to upgrade your source code version please send an email to sales@smith-consulting.com with your original source code purchase receipt.
