Opening new thread for this problem in hopes of getting it some visibility towards a fix. I am not in a position to follow nor apply the ad-hoc fixes that are being discussed on that thread. The problem remains that updates are not being imported and applied to existing products. Nor does it appear that it is fixed in 3.99 or planned to be fixed in 4.0

Please respond whether or not this problem will be addressed so I can plan accordingly.

I also need fixed, ad-hocing works for testing purposes just fine, but it will be ideal that this updates correctly.

Any update on this? This is a huge problem. The only way to update products is to delete them and re-add them, which is a bit unpractical with 12,000 of them.
