Hi Rick,

It sounds like you still have old page template files still saved on your server. Please confirm if you have deleted the Page Templates from the following 2 places:

1. The Page Templates management screen inside SMithCart

2. In your \portals\[portalid]\SmithCart\Templates folder

After you have deleted the templates from the above locations, reset iis and restart the application from the Host Settings.

If you have deleted the Templates from the above locations and the problem persists, try creating a new Page Template for the Product Listing page.

Hope this helps!

Kevin, followed your instructions and still no joy. I recreated the entire site from a data backup, ran through the cart upgrade, same error persisted. Again followed your instructions in the backup site with no change to the error. Any other recommendations that will not require a clean install?
Thanks for any direction.

Hi Rick,

Sometimes when I see errors such as yours after making an upgrade, it ends up being a data conflict caused by a new field or setting which has not been initialized yet. This happens due to the gap between versions, as new fields are added in almost each release and are initialized properly when populated thru the sc ui.

Do you have any other Smith modules added to the page showing the error? If so, please try resaving the settings of the additional Smith Modules as well as your Store Settings.

Our techs are also available to login to your site and fix the error by opening a Premium Support ticket. It does cost a fee, but if it's a bug with our software, you will absolutely not be charged. Starting a Premium ticket ensures that you will get the problem looked into immediately. If this is something you are interested in, please see our Support PAckages at the following link: Support Packages

Let me know if we can help with anything else.

Thanks!
