I have recently discovered that the SC will not sort the products on any other criteria except product id.  I have tried a number of different setting combinations but the results always stay the same.  I have used several browsers and still get the same results too.

The numbers in the sort order column is completely ignored.  When using the sort bar, it doesn't matter what is used.

I found a thread about changing the default sorting by altering a stored procedure but I am not ready to take that on by myself.

Hello,

Are you currently using the Trial or Full version of the Cart?

How do you have your Search and Sort Bar configured in the Cart Settings?

This is the full version of the cart.  Currently the sort bar and the records dropdown are being used.  I have tried various combination with these items turned on and off.

Hi Tim,

I have setup a similar scenario on my test portal and tried re-produce this issue but I was unable to recreate the behavior you reported, however I may not have the exact same configuration as you. I would like to have you login to one of our public test portals and configure the cart the way you have your's configured and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific dnn portal/cart install.

I have the same issue.

The sort widget is enabled on the product list page but when the page loads the product sort ordering is ignored. However, it looks as though changing the sort drop down away and then back to the default "-Sort'-" value applies the correct sorting.

Is there a work-around for this issue? Is it possible to set the sort value in the query string to force the default sorting to use the product sort value?

DNN 6.2.4
SC 5.22.0

Hi Dave,

I'm fairly certain that this was an issue that has already been resolved in a past release. I would recommend downloading the trial version of the Cart and testing on a test portal to confirm if the issue still exists in the latest version of the Cart.

Hi Kevin,

The issue with that is I have 4 or 5 clients with stores on this instance of DNN and I'm told I would have to pay for upgrades for each of these clients to fix the bug.  That would cost a lot of money for my clients who have not requested this fix.  

Is there any way to upgrade without invalidating all licenses on the site?

Hi Dave,

We offer 3 months of free upgrades on the cart from the date of purchase. To get the new version after 3 months you have the following two options:
