Custom Reports
Is there a way to create a custom report that will integrate with the Smith.Cart?

Re: Custom Reports
Currently, Smith Cart comes with about 15 canned reports but doesnt have a built in custom reports generator. All the Smith Cart tables are in SQL Server so you can use any reporting tool to produce reports. Here are couple reporting tools you can use:
1. Crystal Reports
2. Indoogrid (dnn module)
3. SQL Server Reporting Service
There are hundreds of reporting tools on the market that work with sql server so you have alot of options.
Hope this helps!

Re: Custom Reports
The canned reports that the cart comes with are okay but I need one that will show purchase details including:
Sale Date, Customer Name, Customer Email, Product Purchased (sku and product name) Quantity, and Total Amount. I'd like it to be searchable by a [sale] date range (start/end dates) so I can print out a more detailed weekly report of sales. I realize I can do this through SQL but I really want to be able to integrate this with the module. Perhaps Smith will consider a "Custom Report" add on allowing me to write my own query and set parameters through the settings page. What do you think???
