Hi,

 

I just had a customer place an order via PayPal, payment has gone in but the payment status in the order section is still 'false'. How is that possible?

Makes it a bit hard for the warehouse as they dont know what to dispatch and what not.

 

PLease advise.

Which version of the Cart are you currently running and which PayPal Payment gateway are you using?

Not sure what PayPal gateway to be honest. How do I check that?

Is standard PayPal functionality within SC.

Hi Niels,

The Cart supports the following PayPal gateways which are set in the Payment Gateway Setup section of the Cart Settings:

PayPal Website Payments Standard
PayPal Payflow Pro
PayPal Website Payments Pro

My payment gateway is Eway (Australia). I have just ticked the PayPal checkout option.

That one is prob not integrated is it?

Hi Niels,

Yes the Cart is indeed integrated to allow an optional PayPal checkout option. The reason PayPal Standard returns a payment status as "False" or "Cancelled" if the user either did not hit the return link in their browser, or closed the browser before they were redirected back to the Cart. I believe this has been addressed in the v.4.65 release.
