How do they work? On our previous version, we saw an option to upload a thumbnail image. Now, with this version upgrade, we do not see that option when trying to edit details of a product.

Cancel that, I figured it out in the store administration section.

Starting in v2.72 thumbnail images are auto generated. In the cart admin settings you do have option to specify thumbnail pixel dimensions.

I tried setting pixel dimensions for thumbnails and clicked Update general cart settings, but it did not respond. Old thumbnails still show up after I try to set the same dimensions for all of them.

Would that have something to do with upgrading to the latest version and information not carrying over?

And the new pixel dimensions I tried to set do not store.

Try deleting the thumbnail images in [yourPortalRoot]/SmithCart/Thumbnails. Then reupload your primary product image.

Did not work.

Thumbnail dimensions still are not being read.

Can you post the link to your site so I can take a look.

In addition, the cart is scaling down some of my imaging to extremely small amounts (i.e. 10x20 pixels), even though I'm not able to set any consistent width/length dimensions in store administration.

When the cart does the thumbnail resizing it maintains the aspect ratio of the image uploaded. Whatever you enter as the thumbnail width will be adhered to and the thumbnail height is really a "max height" so depending on the pixel dimensions of the original image uploadced you may not get the pixel height entered. Can you post the name of one of your products and what you entered in the thumbnail height and width textboxes.

Deleting the product thumbnail and re-uploading the primary product image worked for me.

Thanks, took some time but I was able to manipulate the images like I wanted to.
