Using Cart 5.57.

On the invoice templates, we can get the Customer information to display which is listed in other parts of the admin as the User details. Can also get Billing details to show, but cannot get the details collected on the Shipping page to appear on the invoice. There are a series of tokens that begin with [INVOICE...] but none of these work. I can see that orders do have Billing, Shipping and User information all listed with the order details in the order management screen - but can't seem to get this info to appear on the invoices.

Hi Bevan,

On which page are you entering the Shipping Info that is not showing up in the Invoice? Cart page or Step 1?

Which Shipping Method do you have selected?

Which Tax Method do you have configured?

Shipping details are entered on Step 1 of the cart.

Using Custom Zone Shipping by Weight.

Tax is configured as 10% GST which is included in prices.

The invoice is just showing the token, it's not replacing it.

I added this to the invoice template and this is what shows up on the invoice - it just shows these tokens without replacing them.

[INVOICEFIRSTNAME] [INVOICELASTNAME]
[INVOICEADDRESS1]
[INVOICEADDRESS2]
[INVOICECITY] [INVOICESTATE] [INVOICEZIP]
[INVOICEPHONE]
[INVOICEEMAIL]

Hi Bevan,

The Invoice tokens you listed above are only used when using the "Apply EU VAT Regulations" and "Apply EU VAT Regulations By Product" Tax settings as these methods require additional information to be collected on the Cart page.

No that doesn't help.

So where does the information entered on the Step 1 of Checkout process go? The details entered on this page are the shipping details, and it seems appropriate to be able to show these on the invoice, but we can only show the USER details and BILLING details using the tokens provided.

We had a situation where the USER placed an order but entered a different name and address for SHIPPING and BILLING. But the invoice shows the USER details, and not the details from the order.

So I assumed we must have the wrong tokens in use on the invoice, but are you saying it's supposed to show only the USER information ignoring what the customer has entered as their SHIPPING details?

Hi Bevan,

To get the info entered on Step 1 displayed on your Invoices, you need to use the "Customer" Invoice tokens.

For Example:

[CUSTOMERFIRSTNAME]
[CUSTOMERLASTNAME]
[CUSTOMERADDRESS1]
[CUSTOMERADDRESS2]
[CUSTOMERCITY]
[CUSTOMERZIP]
etc.

Hi Kevin

It's really not showing as you suggest it should.

On the ManageOrderInfo page we have a customer that is a user (has a login) for the site, but placed an order and entered different name and address details on Step1 and Billing (different to what's recorded in their user information). On the invoice template we were using the Customer tokens, but they are showing the User details, not the different name and address the user entered on Step 1.

I can see on the ManageOrderInfo page there are three tabs, User info shows what we are seeing on the invoice when we use the Customer tokens, Billing shows the info we see when we use the Billing tokens, but the tab Shipping on ManageOrderInfo shows the details that the user entered on Step 1 and I cannot find any tokens that will show this information.

Hi Bevan,

I have been unable to reproduce this issue on my test portal, however I may not have the exact same configuration as you. I would like to have you login to one of our public test portals and configure the cart the way you have your's configured and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific DNN portal/cart install.
