DNN 5.6.3
MSSQL 2008 on PowerDNN
v4.74 smith cart
 
I think the new Payment Options changes have broken this feature:
 
1. When user selects "Request Freight Quote", skip Step 2 Payment Methods screen and go right to Confirmation page.
 
Because I can click the checkbox, fill out the shipping options, click next and I get this error:
 
A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
 
 
* Please create a new installation for me to fix this WITHOUT adding another feature that will break features I am using.  I have been through way too many upgrades that keep breaking features I'm using.  This site was supposed to go live 3 months ago.

Have you taken a look at this yet?  I need this fixed soon.  It's got to be some field requirements or something in the step2 which is supposed to be skipped.

I'll tell you what, you should create a button on the "Cart Settings" page that exports the data into a file to make it easy for these forum requests.  That would be slick. and would make this more efficient.

Hi Mike,

I agree with your suggestion, I will run that by the programming guys to see if that can be done.

Have you setup your Payment Methods in the Admin Menu? If so, how do you have your Payment Methods configured?

I've been using the following and it works fine when the "request freight quote" is not checked. I can checkout fully.

1. Payment Gateways - Manual, no other changes - Saved successfully
2. Zones - US & Canada - Saved successfully
3. Payment Methods - Purchase Order - Saved successfully.

Hi Mike,

I have been able to replicate the issue your reported above during checkout. Seems that the issue is with the Purchase Order payment method. I will send this into programming and post back with an update.

Ok great.  It's probably the Required PO number then.  The whole page is supposed to be skipped during quote.
