I have some products with add options and some with just add to cart. The add options button works fine, but when you click add to cart, I get an error saying A critical error has occurred. Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types. I found this thread http://www.smith-con...

Is there a way to have a list of manufacturers that functions like the category menu? But do it without having to create a "category" for each manufacturer? Just pull the products from the manufacturer selected from the drop down that's in the product details?
Thanks!

Whenever I add a sale price in for a product and hit update. It says it updates, but if I go back into the product, the sale price is set to 0. We are running smith cart 4.52 dnn 06.00.02 (72)

Any update? I don't really want to have to redesign my skin just for IE 7

I understand the IE 7 thing. I use microsoft virtual pc on my machine. I just have a small portion dedicated to an xp machine with IE 7 just for testing. If it were up to me, I would tell the person to update their IE. Unfortunately, you can't do that with customers.

You have the default email templates set, but unless the user goes in and actually clicks save once, the emails that get sent out when someone orders the products are blank. Might want to just make that send out by default if they haven't went in and saved anything. Just a thought.

We are running dnn 5.06.03 smith 4.60.0. When you view the shopping cart in IE 7 on windows XP, the add to cart text it not in line with the button effectively making it impossible to click it. I have verified this happens with the default dnn skin. You can see it here http://chuckswoodbarn.com

The email template. It was just sending out blank ones until I clicked save. Not a big deal though.

I can't believe I didn't notice the semicolon. That fixed my issue. Also, I didn't have a template set up, I saved one and it worked. You might want to save those by default, I didn't change anything in it, but having to go in and click save just seems like extra work. Not a big deal though. Thanks,

We are running dnn 05.06.03 (45) with smith cart 4.60.0. when you check out I get this error. That color #ECC67B is a color I would have set, probably in one of your modules to match the skin. However, it seems to be breaking things. Do you have any ideas where it would be? I should n...

We are running smith cart 4.67.0 on dnn 5.6.03. I see the product zoom images if I go into edit a product, but when I go to the product details, they don't show up. I do have the light box effect enabled on the product details settings page.

This doesn't say if the category names need to be created or not. Can I just add categories in the excel sheet and it will create them?

Is there a way to import categories. Either on their own, or while importing products? I have to move a bunch of data into a the cart and I have excel files, but there are a bunch of categories and I don't want to have to add them one by one.

I have a customer who does shipping by weight. You have to add a zone, probably UPS in your case, then go into custom by weight, and add all of the appropriate costs per weight.

Make sure any dnn skins you create have a doctype of lose. Otherwise, the cart won't show up correctly in IE.
