ok, I tried this version and it appears to import successfully. 

However, the variant SKU's are still NOT working properly.   If I purchase a bed and choose different options and then go to "manage orders" the order has the SKU of the basic bed and NOT the variant SKU.

Looking at the data in the spreadsheet it appears that the Product SKU is being imported fine for the main products. However, the variant SKU is not being imported.

Can you possibly take a look at this ASAP?

ps: it all works fine if the products and variants are added by hand. But we have thousands of products and thousands of variants!!

UPDATE:

I've done some further testing and I think I have found the bug. I think the above it probably not the issue.

It appears that if there is a variant with only one option to choose from; for example a drop down with only one colour in it then the SKU fails.

i.e.  you get the SKU for the main product in the order but NOT the SKU of the variant group.

If I add another variant to the "colour" drop down and update the variant group then it works fine.

There seems to be a bug in the way the module handles drop down controls with single items in them.

Can you investigate please?

We are using the latest version from trials.

UPDATE 2:

No, I was right in the first place and the second place.

I cleared out the data and imported the spreadsheet again.

None of the variant inventories are imported at all and the bug with the single item in the drop down can easily be replicated.

This is a nightmare for us.

Where are you with the latest version? We need the fixed ASAP.
