Why does the following link appear [Please login to view your orders] on the My Account Page when the user is signed - registered role.

Module:  My Account

Message: Please login to view your orders.

javascript:__doPostBack('dnn$ctr427$MyAccountManageOrders$lbSignIn','')

Automatically takes to home page.

Smith Cart Ver: < 4.86

Hi Jon,

Did you set the BuyNow Page name in the Smith MyAccount module's settings?

Have you placed orders with the user that is logged in when viewing the MyAccount module?

Thanks,

I also see this when a user clicks on My Account with no orders, the Please log in to view orders link appears. When clicked it returns the user to the home page.

This occurs on this site as well.

Hi Carl,

Which version of the Cart and DNN are you currently running?

I can confirm that when a user is logged in and has no purchase history, the "Please log in to view orders" link will be displayed and when clicked will direct to the Home page which would otherwise prompt the user to log in.

I will send this into our programmers to add the logic to hide the link if a user is already logged in a future release. You can also prioritize this item into development by doing one of the following:

Email sales@smith-consulting.com

Thanks,

This occurs for me too in 4.86 and DNN 6.1.3...except when the user is logged in, the link doesn't redirect to the home page, but rather to a page that doesn't exist....and yes a 404 error. Can't use it..unfortunate.

Hi Steve,

Not quite sure I understand the issue you are reporting. If the user is logged in the "Please log in to view orders" link will not be displayed. In the next release of the Cart v.4.92 the back buttons have been removed.

Thanks,
